Active: Zinc Oxide 250mg/g. Inactives: Aqua, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Butyloctyl Salicylate, Glycerin, Polyhydroxystearic Acid, Cetearyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Polyurethane-62, Benzyl Alcohol, Citric Acid, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Phytate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Trideceth-6, Tocopherol, Alcohol, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil.
Is zinc sunscreen good for skin?
Yes, it’s an excellent choice. Zinc oxide is a physical blocker, meaning it creates a protective barrier on the skin's surface to reflect UV rays. It’s known for being gentle and effective. The problem is, many traditional zinc formulas feel like a heavy, chalky paste.
How to remove zinc sunscreen?
For any long-wearing sunscreen, a double cleanse at the end of the day is the most effective method: start with an oil or balm cleanser to break down the product, then follow with your regular face wash. Some zinc sunscreens can be notoriously stubborn to get off, feeling like you have to scrub your skin.
How long does zinc sunscreen last?
Like all sunscreens sold in Australia, you need to reapply at least every two hours, and more often after swimming, sweating, or towel drying.
Does zinc sunscreen expire?
Yes, absolutely. All sunscreens are regulated by the TGA in Australia and must have an expiry date printed on the packaging. Using an expired product means you are not getting the reliable SPF protection stated on the label.
Is zinc sunscreen good for acne?
It can be one of the best options for acne-prone skin, as zinc oxide itself is known to be calming.
What percentage of zinc oxide should be in sunscreen?
What matters most isn't a specific percentage, but whether the final product has been rigorously tested to prove it meets its SPF claim. Focusing on one ingredient number can be misleading, as the effectiveness comes from the total formulation.

Not bad!

This is the best mineral sunscreen I've found so far in Australia that isn't a nasty mess. It's still not nice, but it works. It's not greasy like it says and it feels pretty good on the skin. But it's not the best cosmetically pleasant sunscreen there is, but I'm not sure if it's possible to make one that'll hold up the Australian sun. This sunscreen is feels like chalk going on, will cling to any every uneven surface on your face and makes your eyebrows and hairline blue. But it'll dry down pretty well, on really pale skin like mine there's mineral white cast and the chalky feeling goes away after its dried down and had time to settle. Just wear moisturiser under it if you have dry skin! It'll dry your skin out and make it feel very tight otherwise.

Amazing for oily skin!!...

Amazing for oily skin!! The only sunscreen I've found that 1) does not break out my severely acne prone skin 2) doesn't flare my eczema 3) doesn't let any oil through so I never ever have to apply powder during the day!! 4) is amazing as a primer under liquid foundation! Yes, it does apply very white so I use a foundation brush to apply and it blends in seamlessly.
