That little number on the front of your sunscreen bottle? It means something. Here's what to look for.
What's an AUST L number?
Every sunscreen sold in Australia needs to be listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG). When it's listed, it gets a unique number that looks like this:
This number should be printed on the front label of your sunscreen. It tells you the product has been assessed and listed with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).

Find the number
Grab your sunscreen and find the AUST L number on the front label.
Go to the TGA database
