How does a sunscreen with insect repellent work?
It works by combining two different types of active ingredients into a single, stable formula. The challenge is ensuring the ingredients work together without interfering with each other, and without creating a product that feels like a chemical slick on your skin.
Is it okay for children?
This is a low-concentration formula, with 7% DEET. For any products used on young children, we always recommend checking with a doctor or pharmacist to be on the safe side.
Do I need to reapply it differently than regular sunscreen?
You should reapply it just as you would a regular sunscreen: at least every two hours, and more frequently after swimming, heavy sweating, or towel drying. This ensures you're maintaining both your sun and insect protection.
Can I use it on my face?
Yes, but it's best to apply it carefully. Put a small amount of the lotion on your hands first, then rub it onto your face, making sure to avoid your eyes and mouth.
Does it have a strong smell?
